Choosing a lawyer to fight tyranny in the government system is a scary thing for most people - will he understand the problem? Will he actually have the guts to stand up to the system? Can you afford the cost?

The law office of Attorney Gregory A. Hession is set up to fight for people who are fighting government tyranny and political correctness. Our focus is on cases fighting restraining orders and DSS kidnappings of children from families, as well as defending property rights against conservation commissions, defending the right to home school, and to bear arms, as well as criminal defense in all these matters. He is particularly concerned with the right to life and religious free speech matters.

Mr. Hession was a salesman for many years before he went to law school (so he knows what it's like outside the strange world of law and courts). He has a bachelor of arts degree in music, and earned a law degree from Western New England College of Law in 1993 (called a Juris Doctor, or J.D.).

Fighting tyranny is emotionally painful for the client and the attorney, and not always successful. Attorney Hession's approach is personal, since he has a great affinity for the struggles of his clients against arbitrary government power.

Mr. Hession's law office is in Belchertown, Massachusetts, a small town in Western Massachusetts in Eastern Hampshire County. His wife Sandra assists him as his paralegal, and he has one other associate Attorney, Michael Walsh. He would welcome applications from law students with similar political beliefs, for internships.

Mr. Hession has experience in federal and state courts, and with many kinds of litigation, from civil rights to criminal defense. He is president of Family Legal Services, Inc., which provides legal services on sliding scale fee basis, and Constitutional Legal Institute of New England,Inc., both non-profit Massachusetts corporations.
